Bifido Plus®
Composition
One sachet of Bifido Plus® contains 5g of inulin.
Inulin is a polysaccharide of fructose and belongs to the class of carbohydrates known as fructans (inulin in the product Bifido Plus is a standardized extract from chicory root, with controlled therapeutic potential).
Mechanism of action
Through a physiological mechanism, Bifido Plus® selectively feeds the endogenous saprophytic flora specific to each individual, thus improving the colonic metabolism and the quality of the colonic mucosa.
It also has the potential to prevent the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria and contributes to a barrier against colonization with bacteria and other pathogens, with the potential to stimulate immunity both locally and throughout the body.
Recommendation
Inulin from chicory contributes to the normal functioning of the intestine by increasing the frequency of bowel movements.
Some studies have shown that proper administration of soluble fiber has a beneficial role in:
– irritable bowel syndrome
– prophylaxis of gastrointestinal infections
– irradiation colitis
– gluten entropy
– malabsorption syndrome
Administration method
Bifido Plus® can be given, on the recommendation of your doctor, in addition to the treatment regimen with Levurin® or Probicol IBS®:
