ATOPRIN®
Composition
1 pill of ATOPRIN® contains (minimum) 2 × 109 UFC Lactobacillus paracasei LP-33, Lactobacillus paracasei GMNL-133 and 5mcg (200IU) vitamin D3.
Mechanism of action
The intestinal microbiota interacts with the local GALT immune system and modulates the immune response. The GALT-type immune system is a lymphoid tissue associated with the gastrointestinal tract that accounts for approximately 70% of the immune system;
Allergic rhinitis occurs as a result of an IgE-mediated immune response and a complex network of cells, mediators, and cytokines. IgE is involved in allergic inflammation triggered by an imbalance between Th1 and Th2 cells of immunity.
Clinical studies have shown that Lactobacillus paracasei LP-33 and Lactobacillus paracasei GMNL-133 are patented and commensal probiotic strains, selected to enhance the immune response in allergies by stimulating the Th1 immune response and reducing IgE synthesis.
Recommendation
Data from the literature support the efficacy of Lactobacillus paracasei LP-33 and Lactobacillus paracasei strains GMNL-133 in:
– balancing the allergic immune system;
– reduction of symptoms of allergic rhinitis;
– seasonal rhinitis as adjuvant;
– improving the quality of life of patients with allergic rhinitis.
Administration method
ATOPRIN® can be administered orally to adults and children older than 5 years, at least 1 capsule per day, as recommended by your doctor.
