Bifido Baby^®

Composition

A Bifido Baby^® oral powder sachet contains 4 g of oligofructose-enriched inulin, a unique molecule (molecular chain obtained by partial enzymatic hydrolysis).

Mechanism of action

Inulin from chicory contributes to the normal functioning of the intestine by increasing the frequency of bowel movements.

Inulin enriched with oligofructose is a special formula that acts along the entire length of the colon and selectively nourishes the endogenous saprophytic flora with potential in improving the colonic metabolism and the quality of the colonic mucosa.

It also has the potential to prevent the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria that cause imbalances and severe gastrointestinal pathology over time (inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer, etc.) and contributes to a barrier against colonization with bacteria and other pathogens, having the potential to stimulate immunity both locally and throughout the body.

Some studies have shown that soluble fiber has a beneficial role in:

– modulating the baby’s immune system (reducing the risk of atopic dermatitis, allergic urticaria, recurrent infections);

– reduction of energy intake in obesity and overweight;

– increase in passive absorption of microelements in the colon (Ca, Mg, Fe) and increase in bone mineral density.

Administration method

Bifido Baby^® can be given from the first day of the child’s life, on the doctor’s recommendation:

– 1 or 2 sachets / day, 3 consecutive months, the treatment can be continued alternating 1 month of administration with 1 month break;

The contents of the Bifido Baby^® sachet can be dissolved in water, milk, tea, fruit or yoghurt juices, cream cheese, fruit or vegetable purees, soups, stirring until the powder is dissolved.

At the beginning of the treatment with Bifido Baby^® there may be slight cramps, bloating, abdominal discomfort, effects that disappear in a few days, after the individual intestinal adjustment and after the possible adjustment of the daily dose, on the recommendation of your doctor.
