Metabolic Syndrome
Metabolic syndrome is a group of risk factors – high blood pressure, high triglycerides, HDL – low cholesterol, LDL – high cholesterol, abdominal fat – which increase the risk of heart disease and diabetes.
Diet, exercise and medication can improve this condition. Metabolic syndrome is not a disease in itself, but a pre-existing condition of a condition that doubles the risk of heart problems and can lead to heart attacks and heart attacks. The good news is that metabolic syndrome can be kept under control by making lifestyle changes.
There are 4 risk factors for metabolic syndrome:
– cholesterol – high triglycerides;
– hypertension
– blood glucose level.
– obesity
– hepatic steatosis (known as fatty liver)
To be diagnosed with metabolic syndrome, a patient must have 3 of these risk factors.
What causes metabolic syndrome:
– Insulin resistant;
– Obesity – especially abdominal obesity.
– Unhealthy lifestyle
– Hormonal imbalances
Treatment:
There is no clear treatment for the treatment of metabolic syndrome, but the doctor will promptly address each factor involved in the pathology circle.
