Inflammatory bowel disease
The most common inflammatory bowel diseases are ulcerative colitis (hemorrhagic ulcerative colitis) and Crohn’s disease. Their common feature begins as a result of a number of factors – pathogenic, genetic, autoimmune, aberrant immune response, intestinal microbiome – and consists of inflammation of the intestinal wall.
